The Salomon X-Drive 8.8 FS makes a great ski for the strong intermediate to expert skier looking for a stable and smooth ride to arc medium to long radius turns on the frontside of the mountain. Salomon's X-Chassis Construction has a blend of Carbon/Polyamide diagonal stringers in the middle of the ski that increase the torsional strength for cleaner carves and high speed ripping anywhere on the mountain. Full Length Vertical Sidewalls also beef up the torsional strength, and deliver a powerful edge hold on icy groomers.
